''The Old Jewish Cemetery in the Jewish Quarter, was created in the 15th century when Jews were forbidden to bury their dead outside their own district. Space was scarce, so bodies were buried on top of each other in an estimated 12 layers. Over the centuries, lopsided tombstones formed unruly groupings.''

This is very sad, but I can't stop staring at it. It's so beautiful, but lonely, too. It's horrible that people were forced to bury their dead like this. And the weird thing is, some people even today, don't care to tell others about it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful work. I'm going to fave it and show it to some friends of mine. This is too beautiful not to share.

This is quite wonderful, I have a few pictures of cemeterys that resemble this sort of style. I hope you will check them out in my gallery. Anyways, well done.
